Alexander House Rest Home
Alexander House is a Fully Certified Residential Care Facility with 16 well-appointed single rooms and 4 large double rooms suitable for couples. It is owned and operated by Sheryl, who is an RN and her team includes fully trained caregivers, cooks, and an activities officer. As a small rest home, we can offer a home-like environment that enables our residents to forge friendships not only with our lovely staff but with other residents. We aim to make their day, every day. Our activities program includes entertainment, exercise to music and outings, as well as cards, scrabble and housie.
Unlike other facilities, we are proud to say we do not charge premium fees for our several ensuite and large rooms.
Respite Care and Day Care
We also provide as part of our service Respite care and Day care, where family carers can take a break, knowing their loved ones are being looked after. All our services, including full-time care, come under government subsidy and we do not charge extra or premium fees.
We encourage our residents to bring their memories with them, so their own bedroom furniture is welcome and well as, as many pictures and ornaments as they wish.
